Life can be, and often is, challenging and hard to navigate with the cards that have been dealt to us. I like to offer a space in therapy to explore what is working and what isn’t. My goal is, through building connection and resilience, to help you build your own life worth living.
My passion includes working with people dealing with trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and Borderline Personality Disorder. In my practice, I believe that respect and compassion are the building blocks for forming the therapeutic relationship that makes therapeutic interventions effective.
My approach to therapy integrates trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build an awareness of and non-judgmental stance on how your mind works and strengthen the mind-body connection. I am also fully trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and incorporate this modality to help create resilience from trauma and emotional wounds.
Outside of the office I enjoy going on nature walks with my dog, trying new recipes in the kitchen, playing video games and board games, and watching a fun sitcom or reality TV.
Devin sees clients in person in our Tucker/ Northlake office and is available for Telehealth sessions for people throughout Georgia. He is in network with Aetna, Alliant Health, United Healthcare, United Behavioral health, Optum, Student Resources and Medicare and is a Certified TRICARE out-of-network provider. ** Also accepting Kaiser plans as of 09/01/2024.
