My approach as a therapist is to bring honesty, emotional depth, and responsibility to the process as we build a collaborative relationship that will enable you to achieve your goals. I provide a safe space where genuine change can happen and I adapt my approach for each unique client to ensure the best outcomes.  There is no need to be anyone but yourself.  I will support you without sugarcoating, as I believe in your self-awareness and potential.  

I help my clients learn to trust their instincts, clarify their values, and break through barriers, while committing to transparency and dedication throughout the process. With a background as a professional musician, I blend creativity with evidence-based approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I approach my sessions with intention, flexibility, and structure.  I don’t believe in quick fixes but I do believe in your innate strengths and resilience.

My specialties include trauma, severe depression, anxiety, ADHD, neurodiversity, life transitions and self-esteem.  I am also passionate about working with high performing gamers, professionals, musicians, artists, athletes, dancers and other performing artists. 

I genuinely love this work and care deeply about each of my clients.  I enjoy working with many kinds of people from diverse backgrounds and age, from young adults to older adults.  I am informal, bring my sense of humor, and am easy to be with so that you can be your authentic self.  You might feel lost, disconnected or isolated, but it is brave to reach out and I am here to support you.  

Stefan sees clients in person in our Marietta office or by Telehealth.  He is able to see clients using their Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Kaiser insurance.
