As you read, I hope you find a moment of self-celebration for your courageous choice toward well-being. Whether you are new to therapy, or returning, welcome. Every person has a story that deserves to be heard and understood. While I am not here to solve life’s problem for you, I am here to listen, empower, and walk with you on your path towards purposeful change and peace of mind.

I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, but have a passion working with young  adults. Emerging adulthood is often depicted as the prime of life; however some struggle with feeling anxiety, depression, and stress. These can stem from college and career navigation to personal identity development. Learning to manage evolving relationships with family, friends, significant others, and co-workers can also become challenging. Know you are not alone in this journey!

I am here to hear you and your story, an honor I do not take lightly. My approach is genuine, compassionate, non-judgmental, and constructive. I use a holistic approach where we consider the mind, body, and spirit. Together, we explore who you are and where you want to go – therapy is limitless! My focus is to help folks discover their sense of self and enhance skills such as distress tolerance, self-compassion and raise personal awareness.

My therapeutic approach incorporates a combination of modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. These will allow you to unpack, challenge, and transform unhelpful ways of thinking. We can begin to understand your life experiences, address struggles with more grace, and build resilience. My intention is to equip you with coping strategies and empower you.

I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work and a graduate certificate in gerontology from The University of Georgia. I have past experience as a medical social worker with patients diagnosed with ESRD. I also work as a school-based Mental Health Clinician within a school system. Beyond the office, I enjoy the outdoors, listening to the blues, dance parties with my dog, as with laughing with my friends and family. Thank you for taking time to stop by. Finding a good fit between you and your therapist is the key to progress! You got this!
