    Depression

Is depression clouding your world, making you question your worth? Do you find yourself in tears without any apparent reason, losing interest in activities you once enjoyed? Depression can cast a dark shadow, bringing feelings of isolation, physical discomfort, and a persistent sense of loneliness. At times, it may go hand in hand with anxiety, creating a cycle of unease and lethargy. Depression encompasses a range of experiences and can manifest as major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder, or other subtypes. Psychotherapy treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), offer effective approaches to alleviate depressive symptoms. These evidence-based therapies help address negative thought patterns, improve coping strategies, enhance social support, and promote emotional well-being. Additionally, other treatment options for depression may include medication, lifestyle modifications, and support groups. Our compassionate therapists at CAWB specialize in these treatments, tailoring them to your unique needs and providing the support necessary for your healing journey. By working collaboratively, we empower you to regain control, rediscover your sense of self-worth, and embark on a path of renewed hope and happiness.
