I am deeply passionate about walking alongside couples as they navigate the complexities of relationships – whether it’s challenges around scarcity, trust, communication breakdowns, or intimacy concerns. My mission is to support individuals and families in building resilience and confidence as they face life’s inevitable burdens. In our work together, I strive to create a place free of judgment and full of compassion, where your fears and concerns are met with understanding and hope.
My therapeutic approach is both Solution-Focused and person-centered, informed by faith, and the belief that each person has worth and is deserving of respect and dignity, and in the belief that you are the expert of your own life. I’m here to provide a safe, supportive environment where we can collaborate on practical strategies that foster healing, growth, and lasting change. I meet people where they are, and welcome people from all walks. I am able to offer counseling from a Christian perspective for those who are open to that.
Outside the therapy room, I cherish time spent with my husband and son. I am part of a blended family life as well, enjoying all the roles that that entails. We love traveling, exploring the rich history of new places – and, of course, sampling the local cuisine wherever we go. We’re also learning the joys (and humbling lessons) of gardening, embracing each season as students of the soil.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to life’s challenges. My goal is to help you discover what works best for you. The journey may be hard, but you won’t be walking it alone.
Mahogania sees people in our Athens office and via telehealth throughout Georgia. She is able to accept Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and most Kaiser Permanente plans as an in-network provider. ,
