Welcome, I am so glad you are here! Taking the first step to begin or return to supportive therapy can be adifficult place to start. The good news is I am here to help and serve as a guide to navigate this journey alongside you. As we know, life’s rollercoaster can be crazy, full of unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes, we get stuck on the tracks and don’t know what to do or who to call to move forward. As a clinician, my goal isto meet you where you are at, no matter where you are on your journey, and help direct you to your desired destination through the therapeutic process .I intend to create a safe space for you to feel supported and heard while sharing your thoughts, feelings, and highs/lows you may be encountering.

Every individual has a unique story and voice to present. I hope to be lucky enough to be a part of your narrative and witness your extraordinary journey to reach your goals through client and therapist collaboration. My approach as a clinician is to walk with you through an individual therapeutic process which may include the utilization of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), supportive psychotherapy, and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.

I have experience working in the medical social work setting, specifically with the Oncology patient/caregiver population. I understand maneuvering a chronic illness diagnosis or grief/loss can be strenuous and complicated. I would love to be the supportive figure you trust to feel comfortable processing these difficult emotions and life or role changes. I additionally have several years of experience providing supportive therapy to adults and their families in the outpatient clinical setting.

In my work with adult couples, I  use the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) approach to help you understand your attachment styles/attachment needs, and emotional patterns, to create an understanding of how you navigate your relationship, and help you to gain perspective about your  day to day functioning within your unique partnership or bond.Gaining insight into communication styles and patterns within a relationship is a way to establish an interpretation of you and your partner, enabling adjustments to emotional cycles and helping you to gain the connections you want.

Another population I am passionate about working with is young adults, specifically student-athletes. Iwas a student-athlete in College and understand the rigorous lifestyle of balancing academics and athletics can not only be physically, but mentally exhausting. Having experienced the demanding lifestyle of being a student-athlete firsthand I have expertise in navigating this fast-paced commitment to a sport and stage of life, allowing me to be confident in helping you do the same.

When I am not working, I enjoy being active with my favorite fitness activities being swimming, running, and weightlifting. I also love to bake all things sweet and have recently taken up bread-making! My absolute favorite hobby is taking my sweet blue heeler on long walks with my boyfriend. I am so excited to join you on your therapy journey and thrilled you came across my page.

Lily is seeing clients in our Athens office and via telehealth in Georgia  beginning in April 2025. She accepts Medicare and can file  for your out -of network benefits with other insurance plans.
