“As a bee seeks nectar from all kinds of flowers, seek teachings everywhere. Like a deer that finds a quiet place to graze, seek seclusion to digest all that you have gathered. Like a mad one beyond all limits, go where you please and live like a lion, completely free of all fear.” -Dzogchen Tantra
Your symptoms didn’t come out of nowhere — they developed in response to what you’ve lived through. Chronic pain, chronic illness, grief, depression, exhaustion. Adaptations, after years of stress, loss, displacement, or having to be strong for too long. Some folx I work with carry the invisible weight of cultural rupture and survival. Others live in bodies that hurt, feel unfamiliar, or have been shaped by illness, trauma, or systems that never recognized their needs.
You may have been told: “Nothing is wrong” — yet the pain persists.
“Just manage your stress” — without any real guidance.
“Try harder” — despite being completely depleted.
Therapy with me is practical, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the mind-body connection. Together, we may draw on behavioral coaching to support daily functioning and energy, mindfulness and nervous-system regulation that actually feels accessible, and gentle lifestyle and body-awareness practices — nutrition, yoga, movement — alongside understanding of plant-medicines like ketamine’s benefit for treatment-resistant depression, when appropriate. Everything is tailored, and paced to you.
I bring over a decade of wellness experience across corporate and workplace wellness, EAP’s, hospital-based care, telehealth, and yoga instruction—from New York City to Napa Valley to the Atlanta metro area, in colleges, rehabilitation centers, and elementary schools alike. My clinical background spans CBT, DBT, ACT, Gestalt, and psychodynamic therapy, grounded in an MSW from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s from Georgia State University, along with holistic nutrition and health counseling training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Teachers College, Columbia University. My own spirituality is rooted in the earth and the Divine Feminine — I welcome clients across all, or no, religious traditions. As an active NASW member, I’m committed to quality mental health care being accessible to everyone, regardless of background or circumstance.

This is a space where you don’t have to translate yourself. You don’t need the “right words.” You don’t need to be strong here. Therapy is a place to exhale — and begin again, gently.
Outside the office: Cultivating my jungalow with houseplants, experimenting with vegan baking and plant-based cuisines from around the world, and happily collecting elevation gain and National Park stickers.
If this resonates, I welcome you to reach out. I offer therapy sessions both in-person and online in Georgia, with availability on weekends and evenings.
Wendy Brown, LMSW will be seeing clients in our East Cobb/ Marietta office beginning in Mid-July 2026.
She will be able to accept most plans with Aetna, Ambetter, Alliant, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Kaiser as an in-network provider.
