As you navigate the ups and downs of life, you may come to a place where you feel stuck or wonder how to proceed through a difficult transition. Perhaps you are grieving a loss or burdened by the lingering effects of a traumatic experience. You may be feeling confused, exhausted, alone, and disconnected. During this time, therapy can be an invaluable experience that offers you support, connection, and guidance in constructing a roadmap forward. I am here to help.

I specialize in working with women who are experiencing anxiety. I have a special interest in serving survivors of relationship and sexual violence. I believe that the past informs the present but does not dictate the future. I know that, while people who have survived terrible traumas and neglect often believe they are broken, — they are not broken. My hope is that over the course of our work together you will come to fully inhabit your strength, capability, and capacity for ease and joy.

Our therapeutic relationship can give you a safe place to uncover the links between the past and the present, discover and release the patterns and old memories that keep you stuck, and enable you to learn new ways of thinking and being so you can reach your goals. My approach is down to earth, practical, empathetic, and supportive. I love to laugh with my clients and am unafraid to go deeply into the difficult parts of your life with you. I am inquisitive, thoughtful, and grounded.

I received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia in 2013 and have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2017. I am a trained EMDR therapist and I use a blend of EMDR, parts work, somatic work, and behavioral therapies to help you reach your goals. In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the forest, drinking tea, reading, and knitting.
